Red Chair Software has made available its Anapod PhotoSync 1.0 application designed to ease the transfer of photos from your PC onto your iPod photo.

The software can also be used together with Anapod Explorer to allow users to download music files to their Apple digital music players without the use of the iTunes music store.

The stand-alone application represents the first implementation of Anapod’s photo transfer capabilities and features automatic iPod detection and connection capabilities plus photo folder selection and JPEG transfer.

The downloadable accessory provides automatic generation of both thumbnails and full iPod-screen sized images plus high resolution images for TV display via the iPod’s A/V cable.

Transfer is currently limited to 48 photos although plans are in development to extend this in the near future.
