The power accessory is compatible with all third generation iPods and the iPod mini and easily provides enough battery life for between 40 and 70 hours of continuous playtime.

The iPod accessory is perfect for travel use or during long commutes and also enables the iPod to connect to the majority of iPod speakers.

The new iPod battery is a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack and can be charged over 400 times and at 40 hours per charge, according to the product’s manufacturer.
