PodGear has just announced the release of the PocketParty for the iPod nano.

According to PodGear, this is the first iPod speaker system for the nano, though buyers have the assurance that comes with an established brand, as the original PocketParty is popular with older model iPod owners.

“Beautifully designed and compact” and weighing just 38 grams, the nano PocketParty offers one watt of stereo output from its two small speakers.

Despite being powered by a single AA battery, this wireless iPod accessory can operate for up to ten hours whilst providing a powerful, portable sound.
