Increasing demand for high-fashion
Fashionable women are keen to dress up their MP3 players with high-fashion iPod cases.
And designer labels are keen to exploit the demand for attractive accessories to compliment the latest technologies.
The Pittsburgh Tribune reports that Louis Vuitton is already selling an “international telephone case” and Dior has a £200 bag for iPod Minis, as well as a travel case for iPod accessories.
“As things get sleeker, it’s going to be something that’s more and more important” for mainstream fashion, said Robin Sackin, of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
