Watersports enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that America’s leading providers of waterproof MP3 accessories, H20 Audio, has began shipping its new waterproof case for 4G iPods. 

The SV-iP4G is fully submersible – meaning surfers, water skiers and even swimmers can listen to their iPod underwater.

The iPod case also comes with a waterproof headset and features a “unique full-function dial and push button assemble design that gives users ready access to all of the iPod command controls, even when fully submerged in water,” said a company spokesperson.

The product is available online at H20 Audio and at selected international retailers from June 2005 for around £80 (£149).
