iTunes welcomes video wonder from Stevie
Motown legend Stevie Wonder has made history today by releasing the first music video for the blind.
Wonder has produced two videos for his forthcoming single “So What the Fuss”, one of which will contain a secondary descriptive audio track of storyline for the blind and visually impaired.
The track is the 54 year-old’s first new release in almost ten years and has been made available at the iTunes music site.
“Until now music videos have been very one-dimensional for those who are blind or with low vision,” Wonder said in a statement released on his website.
“For me, the entire concept is indicative of what happens when you go beyond the status quo and open yourself up to what’s possible.”
