Mini Cooper joins iPod upheaval
The Mini Cooper has been confirmed as the latest vehicle manufacturer to add its name to the iPod bandwagon by installing iPod compatibility devices in its forthcoming range.
Mini Cooper joins its parent company BMW in introducing the stylish musical incentive that, like in the BMW, will be operable from the car’s steering wheel.
Rumours have surfaced that future models could be introduced with an in-dash track display, in keeping with Mercedes Benz’s intended 2006 M Class models.
An armrest iPod integration system is also thought to be in the latter stages of development.
The Mini Cooper will join an extending list of manufacturers who have already adopted the iPod including Ferrari, Nissan, Alfa Romeo and Volvo.
