DLO has just released its new Action Jacket, touted as the first truly protective armband alternative for the iPod shuffle.

The armband case uses a neoprene coating to shield the shuffle’s body from bumps, scratches, and the elements while you exercise.

The Action Jacket case has a sturdy rear belt clip that actually rotates 180 degrees in six ratcheting steps so that users can position the shuffle’s headphone port wherever they find most comfortable.

Priced at $24.99 in the US the new case and armband combo looks set to be a winner with fitness loving shuffle devotees.
