Novel range of iPod accessories exhibited at CES
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas has brought a host of novelty iPod accessories into attention and promptly onto the market.
Despite the actual iPod music players remaining in absentia from the show, a whole line of fashion accessories has been unveiled, including new iPod sweaters, jackets and socks.
The Orlando Sentinel adds that Apple has also promoted more conventional technological innovations such as new iPod batteries, chargers and cables.
But it is the multi-coloured and variably patterned iPod clothing accessories that are receiving considerable attention as Apple seeks to further extend iPod’s market domination and popularity.
Reports have suggested that iPod sales have topped ten million to date, spawning a thriving iPod accessory market estimated to be worth approximately £60 million.
