Digital manufacturer, Nyko Technologies, is to unveil a host of new iPod accessories for the New Year.

The Californian firm, which established a decade ago, is reportedly planning to exhibit the new line of products at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show.

The new accessories for the iPod include the highly anticipated MoviePlayer device, which will allow users to transfer and play movies, videos and photos.

Another product, the iTop Button Relocator, resituates all controls from the front of the iPod to the top, allowing easier accessibility to the various functions.

A third accessory aims to claim a market share of the expanding niche for in-car iPod accessories.
Nyko’s Universal Car Mount will offer consumers an easy-to-use, durable accessory providing in car music whilst remaining aesthetically in-keeping with iPod’s distinct image.

Reports suggest that the new iPod accessories will all be released early this year although official dates have not yet been released.
