California-based manufacturer, Nyko Technologies, has added to the number of new iPod accessories set for general release.

The first of these will be the iPod Speaker Dock, a stylish charging cradle permitting users to listen to music whilst charging their devices for portable use.

Nyko is also to unveil a compact rechargeable battery pack for iPods, titled iBoost, which will come complete with dock connectors, adding an extra 16 hours onto playtime.

The iBoost will also be available in a slimmed down version, iBoost mini, for the award-winning iPod mini music players, adding an extra ten hours onto playtime.

Another iPod accessory poised for general release will be the shock-resistant Charger Case, a chic aluminium case with built-in power supply containing the capacity to fully power an iPod three times before needing recharging.

The unveiling of these iPod accessories follows yesterday’s news confirming the imminent release of Kyko’s MoviePlayer, iTop Button Relocator and Universal Car Mount following exhibition at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show.
