Value Alliance launches video podcast
The iPod is primarily thought of as an entertainment device, but now, building on its educational potential evidenced in schools and colleges, it turns out that it could also be of benefit to business users in the boardroom.
US firms The Value Alliance and AthenaOnline have come together to create the world’s first video podcast to cover issues of corporate governance.
Issues of best practice discussed include regulatory and accounting matters, shareholder relations and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
It also covers possible future business trends, which executives will be able to consider at work, on the move and while relaxing at home.
AthenaOnline is a sister company of the Institute for Management Studies (IMS) and publishes a range of e-knowledge products over the internet and on CD-Rom.
The Value Alliance offers advice to companies about building up the relationship between management, board and shareholders.
